Product introduction
TOKAI's valuable first year LS-80 from the LS series, released in 1978, is now in stock in used condition!
This is one of the historic guitars that reproduced the original Les Paul in every detail and made the high level of Japanese guitar manufacturing technology known overseas!
The body is constructed with a beautiful maple top and mahogany back, giving it a classic look and a warm tone that will make you ooh and aah!
The neck is a familiar C-shape giving a comfortable playing feel.
This model has “80” on the neck end, and when the front pickup is opened, it is marked “LS80 OCS”. There is also “MADE IN JAPAN” on the tailpiece and the bottom of the bridge. The pickups are thought to be original TOKAI PAF, but there is no information about the first year pickups on the Internet, so please check the pictures.
The excellent playability and rich sound will greatly expand your possibilities of musical expression, and will be your best partner to create a memorable performance.
condition
There is some clouding of the head and tarnish on the pegs due to aging, as well as a paint crack at the junction between the back of the head and the neck (which does not reach the wood), but there are no noticeable scratches and the overall condition is good!
There is some scratching in the tone of the front pickup when playing, but there is no cutting out of sound and it does not affect playability.
